‎A philanthropist by name Engr. Ayyub Adesegun Adegboyega, the CEO of Imran Roofing and Properties (Imran Innovation), best known for quality roofing solutions, hails from Akesan Town in the Igando/Ikotun Local Council Development Area of Lagos State.

‎For years he had dedicated his efforts towards extensive philanthropic efforts and service for humanity; he engaged street sweepers whom he placed on monthly salary to keep clean, the Oba Alabi Fagbohun Avenue, the major road to his community, and also empowered indigenous students of his community through the annual Imran Foundation Bursary and Scholarship Award.

‎After thorough screening and careful selection by a committee, Engr Ayyub, in his magnanimity, disbursed the sum of five hundred and ninety thousand naira (₦590,000) to thirty-three (33) students who met the necessary requirements for this year, which represents the sum of fifty thousand naira (₦50,000) to four (4) students with over 4.0 CGPA; four (4) students with a strong second-class upper grade between 3.81 and 3.95 CGPA got thirty thousand naira (₦30,000); two (2) students between 3.69 and 3.58 CGPA got twenty thousand naira (₦20,000), and twenty-three (23) others got ₦10,000.

‎The seasoned entrepreneur enjoins the beneficiaries to face their studies seriously, while promising to do his best to keep the scheme running. This scholarship aims to provide financial assistance and recognize academic excellence, thereby empowering deserving students to pursue their educational goals.

‎The Imran Foundation Bursary and Scholarship Committee annually carefully screen and select beneficiaries. In the committee are Mr. Ogunbewon Monday, Mr. Alimi Samson, Mr. Segun Ogunbewon, Mr. Yusuf Rasak and Mr. Abudu Yusuf, who are indigenous graduates of the community.

‎The 2025 screening of beneficiaries held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at the Ultra Modern palace of HRM. Oba (Dr.) Nojeemdeen Abidemi Aberejo, (Ogunjobi I, Oduala III), the Alakesan of Akesan Kingdom and Secretary of Lagos State Council of Obas and Chiefs.
